We hope you know but, if you don't, Birra is the Italian word for beer, and this is the core of the bar in Prenzlauer Berg. They offer almost twenty different types of beer from the tap. During our visit, nearly half of them were from Birrificio Lambrate. This is great for us since we have been to Birrificio Lambrate before, on a trip to Milan back in 2015, and we loved every minute of it.

Protokoll is a craft beer bar that opened in July 2017 in one of the many back streets in Friedrichshain. There you can find more than 20 different types of beer on tap and close to 50 different beer bottles, more than enough for a night out with friends.

Hopfenreich is located in a surprisingly quiet corner in Kreuzberg. Close to the party center that is Schlesiches Tor, this is a place to taste some beers before you head towards another bar or go clubbing. At least, this is what I do when I visit this excellent craft beer bar.
