In episode 5, when Noah meets Michael, there is a church in the background. An interesting looking church that made us curious about it and we had to try to find out where is this church located.

Analog Photography in Berlin

Tired of the digital monotony and seeking a more fulfilling photographic experience?

Late in 2023, I discovered a way to use 35mm film on a medium-format camera and was eager to try it out. I asked a friend to 3D print the pieces needed to hold the smaller film in place, and a month ago, I finally took my camera out to test this visual idea.

From Film to Zine

I began creating my analog photography zines when I recognized my desire to showcase my film photos beyond the digital space.

Cycling in Berlin: Why Berlin is not a paradise for your bike

Since I moved to Berlin in 2012, I have used a bike as my main mode of transportation, and I love it. For those watching from the bike lanes, Berlin might seem …

The Szczecin Philharmonic is the main reason why Szczecin appeared under my radar. The building is so magnificent and beautiful that it won numerous architectural awards when it was open to the public, back in 2014. One of these awards was the Architectural Design of the Year at Eurobuild Awards 2014.

Berlin is a city rich in history, with its vibrant present often built on the remnants of a complex and, at times, troubling past. While iconic landmarks like the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag attract millions of visitors, there are quieter sites that hold equally profound stories. One such site is the memorial dedicated to the former Columbia-Haus, situated on Columbiadamm near the expansive grounds of the former Tempelhof Airport.

Back in September, Fotostrasse was invited by Canon to see everything that was new in the camera world at Photokina in Cologne. As the world’s largest photography trade show, this was heaven for anyone that loves cameras, photo gear and apps. But I came out of the place with a sour taste in my mouth. But it wasn’t the overpriced food in there. I was disappointed how most camera makers I visited and talked to at Photokina weren’t fixing one of the problems I have now. I share this problem with a lot of photographers and the problem is speed.

Due to some issues with the space available and my fear of falling, I left my Canon F-1 home. I traveled to Copenhagen with a more compact camera. This is how I ended up cycling with my Lomography LC-A+. I wanted a consistent look throughout the trip, so instead of my usual experimental approach to film usage, I bought some rolls of Kodak Gold 200 and took them with me. You will see this in the images I selected for this.

The Hague was a surprise to me. A city that I only knew due to be home to U.N.’s International Court of Justice. But Hague is way more than this. It has a gorgeous mixture of old and new architecture, a lot of cultural events and canals that will make you feel like you are walking in Amsterdam, without all the tourists.

A Traveler’s Guide To The Hague
