If you think the Netherlands is totally flat, think again! This country actually has a surprising peak called the Vaalserberg. The Vaalserberg is 322.4 meters above sea level in the country's southeast corner. That makes it the highest point in the Netherlands. At least if you only consider the European part of the country.

Up in the mountains of the Austrian Alps, there is a small village called Lech am Arlberg. Most people know the area as one of the world’s premier ski destination but we visited the town during the summer, and we loved every minute of it. During our time in the Faroe Islands we tried to see everything we could and one of the places we visited was the Nólsoy Island, located some kilometers away from Tórshavn. Nólsoy is also the name of the village where we spent all of the time we were in the island. And, if you are wondering why did we go to Nólsoy, we can say that it was because of a music festival.
