Hüttenpalast is an oasis in the middle of the madness that is Neukölln. The hotel is located almost on the corner of Weserstr and Hobrechstr in Neukölln, and it is the most adorable and unique hotel we’ve ever seen.
If you always wanted to camp with all the comfort of a hotel, you will like to read what we did. A couple of weeks ago, we spent a weekend exploring one of the most exciting hotels in Berlin. Hüttenpalast can be found in the heart of Neukölln, close to Hermannplatz and a few minutes walking from the Landwehrkanal.
There you don’t need to worry about the weather, and it might be -20º outside, and you will still be comfortable inside one of the mane caravans inside the hotel.
All of this happens because Hüttenpalast is not a standard hotel. This is not the place to go and to stay if you want some normal. There you will find caravans and wooden huts that are placed inside an old factory building. This is for real and one of the many things that you can only see in Berlin.
Tell me more about Hüttenpalast
Hüttenpalast consists of 3 parts: 2 huge lofts filled up with vintage caravans and cute cabins and 1 part of standard hotel rooms, but of course, this review will be about the trailers and cabins. Besides those three parts the hotel also have a pleasant and very relaxing garden with many different kinds of plants, trees, and flowers. Most of them were rescued from other places; a fact that made me instantly fell in love with the whole concept.
The whole concept of Hüttenpalast is as fantastic as its decor. Every detail is well thought, and once you enter through its door, you feel like you are coming to another world. We spent the night in the most famous and requested vintage caravans of Hüttenpalast, the Kleine Schwester (Little sister). It is the 70s fully restored caravan with a huge and very comfortable bed inside.
The prices go from the 69€ use of any of the regular caravans and cabins, and they don’t care if you’re alone or with friends, you pay for the trailers or cabin. The average rooms are a bit more expensive (74€/night), but they are huge and can fit comfortably two adults and two kids. For example, the one we stayed is 69€ per night, and the cute Alter Palast that fits up four people is the same price.
Below you can see more photos of the other cabins and caravans from inside and outside and some of the beautiful surroundings. As well as the fabulous decor of this fantastic hotel so you can choose the one, you think it is cuter and get inspired to book your night right now!
It is important to tell that, at Hüttenpalast, the breakfast is not included in the price, but they will offer great coffee & tea and fresh croissants every morning for every guest free of charge.
