Among all of them, our favourite is easily the one with Karl Marx created in 1974 by José Renau, a Spanish artist from Valencia who moved to East Germany escaping persecution in Franco's dictatorship. One year after Chopin's death, Ludwika Jędrzejewicz took his heart back to Poland in a jar of alcohol, probably cognac, as it was used at the time to preserve organs.
