Beef Fabrik: honest burgers in Wilmersdorf

Fotostrasse explores Wilmersdorf for the #52weeksofburgers challenge and discovers Beef Fabrik. We were in the neighboorhood to run some errands and since this whole thing is about exploring we decided to go to a place that we never heard of Beef Fabrik.

Getting there this is a venue we could feel is focused mainly on the delivery, the shop is not small, but the direct white light and darker walls give you quite an unwelcoming feeling, luckily for us, there are a few tables on the outside that were quite pleasant.

Felipe ordered the Hot Chili Burger (€6,50) with a 150g patty, chili sauce, jalapeños, tortilla chips, Gouda, lettuce, tomato, red onions, pickles, and crunchy onions. This was an excellent burger, it looks like a lot of ingredients, but it ended up being very tasty. I got the Fabrik Burger (€6,50), with the same patty, their homemade Fabrik sauce (kind of a special burger sauce), parmesan, lettuce, arugula, tomato, red onions, pickles, and crunchy onions, and this was not as tasty as Felipe’s, but it was beautiful as well.

The meat here is nothing special, but it was well seasoned, and we didn’t love the bread here, it was quite overwhelming for the burger and a bit dry, so, if I can suggest something; get your burgers with double patties here, and it will be a lot better!

We also got the Nuggets (€3,50) and the Chili Cheese Pommes (€2,50), and they are nothing special tastewise, but they are quite honest for the price. Beef Fabrik has a good amount of soft drinks and two types of beer.

Overall, this is quite an honest burger to have if you are in the neighboorhood and want a quick (and cheap!) bite. But this is definitely not a place you will plan to go, and if it is a cold or rainy day and you live on the area this might be an excellent situation to order takeout from this venue. We rate it a 6/10.

Laubacher Str. 11, 14197 Berlin

The Hot Chili Burger was €6,50, the Chili Cheese Pommes was €2,50, and the Augustiner beer was €3,00.

If you want to grab a quick bite around Wilmersdorf, this place is for you. The burger was honest, the prices are great, but we wouldn’t change our paths too much to eat there.
