For another week of the #52weeksofburgers challenge, Fotostrasse visits the fancy Kumpel & Keule Speisewirtschaft in Kreuzberg. We visited the Kumpel & Keule stand in Markethalle Neun in September and since then we have been curious about their proper restaurant near Gorlitzer Park. Since this was the week of my birthday and I wanted a nice place to eat, we decided to pamper ourselves and try this place out.

Strassenbräu is a craft beer bar in Friedrichshain that has one of the most exciting menus we have seen in the bars around town. Whether you a beer curious or a pro, you’ll like to try out the entire list there. I know we almost did this when we first visited the place.

In Berlin Moves, Alex Soloviev tries to capture the German capital from the eyes of a local. At the same time, he tries to show how beautiful the city is from the perspective of a tourist. He wants to show you all the small things that you overlook while you walk around Berlin, and this is one of the many reasons why we had to write something about his latest video.

Fotostrasse decides to leave all meat out of this week's menu, and munch at the vegan Loveburger in Neukölln. Loveburger is a decently sized and recently opened 100% vegan burger place in Neukölln, so we decided to give it a go.

This week of the #52weeksofburgers challenge, Fotostrasse goes to Friedrichstrasse to munch on some burger at Peter Pane, a large burger chain around Germany, with beautifully decorated restaurants. We thought this would be an excellent way to check for once what is the German take on burgers.

Protokoll is a craft beer bar that opened in July 2017 in one of the many back streets in Friedrichshain. There you can find more than 20 different types of beer on tap and close to 50 different beer bottles, more than enough for a night out with friends.

This week Fotostrasse goes to Mitte and munches at the Supreme Burger for the #52weeksofburgers challenge. Supreme has excellent reviews, and we were a bit unsure about it since it seemed a bit aimed towards tourists, but to hell with it, and we happily gave it a try.

Hopfenreich is located in a surprisingly quiet corner in Kreuzberg. Close to the party center that is Schlesiches Tor, this is a place to taste some beers before you head towards another bar or go clubbing. At least, this is what I do when I visit this excellent craft beer bar.

This week of the #52weeksofburgers, Fotostrasse takes you to another Asian inspired burger; Son Kitchen. This little window on the wall at Kantstrasse caught our eyes a few times before for its simplicity in the street crowded with restaurants.

This week for the #52weeksofburgers challenge, Fotostrasse munches around Kottbusser Tor at the famous Burgermeister. A few weeks ago, we went to the most famous burger place in Berlin, the Burgermeister at Schlesisches Tor, and we wanted to find out if their other venues are as delicious as that one.

If you listened to the album Heroes, from 1977, you know that there is a song in there called Neukoln. There David Bowie plays saxophone and explores an ambient piece of music to show how he saw West-Berlin.

We munch around Charlottenburg at Shiso Burger Kantstrasse on this week of the insane #52weeksofburgers challenge. Fotostrasse revisits the first burger place we went for the challenge, but this time we are trying out their real meaty burgers in their Kantstraße shop.

This week of the #52weeksofburgers Fotostrasse ventures to Markethalle Neun in Kreuzberg to eat (almost) straight from the cow at Kumpel & Keule, a butcher shop dedicated to bringing back the art of butchery. There you will find beautifully dry-aged meat and homemade sausages, this sounds kind of pretentious and very hipster-like, but as we found out, they do it pretty fucking well.

So, this week of the #52weeksofburgers challenge, we get lazy around Neukölln and go to Burgerzimmer IV. Very close to the Boddinstraße U-Bahn station is one of many Burgerzimmers around the city, the place is bigger than most and looks a lot like your regular donner shop. As usual, you order your food, and you grab it when it’s done.
