This week of our peculiar #52weeksofburgers challenge, we go to Reichenberger Straße and munch at Reichen Burger. We were, once again, not wanting to go so far, so we found this place that we never heard before, and it was a big “why not?”.

When I arrived at the Aerodynamic Park in Berlin-Adlershof by bike, the first thing I saw was the silver curves of the Big Wind Tunnel, a tubular system that measures between 8 and 12 meters in diameter. This was, also, built between 1932 and 1934 as a part of the German Research Institute of Aviation.

This week of the #52weeksofburgers Fotostrasse ventures to Markethalle Neun in Kreuzberg to eat (almost) straight from the cow at Kumpel & Keule, a butcher shop dedicated to bringing back the art of butchery. There you will find beautifully dry-aged meat and homemade sausages, this sounds kind of pretentious and very hipster-like, but as we found out, they do it pretty fucking well.

So, this week of the #52weeksofburgers challenge, we get lazy around Neukölln and go to Burgerzimmer IV. Very close to the Boddinstraße U-Bahn station is one of many Burgerzimmers around the city, the place is bigger than most and looks a lot like your regular donner shop. As usual, you order your food, and you grab it when it’s done.

Burgeramt was in our radar for a while, and we got there on a hot Thursday afternoon. The place is quite big, but summer is still here, and the area is famous for food, so we had to wait to get a table.

The Spreepark is an abandoned amusement park that has been laying abandoned close to the heart of Berlin for, at least, 15 years. When you enter the park and start walking around, you can see the remnants of the previous decades, and this is why this location is so unusual for people. From all the urban explorers that want to capture its decay to the hipsters that want to photograph something that looks cool.

This week for our #52weeksofburgers Fotostrasse explores one of the most famous burger places in Berlin; Burgermeister. This little burger venue under a bridge is legendary mostly because it is situated inside an old public toilet, and because of the enormous lines of hungry tourists that form by it.

This week of the #52weeksofburgers challenge Fotostrasse goes to Friedrichshain to try some Asian inspired burgers. We were going to a concert in the area, and this seemed like one of the most exciting choices around since we love some bao buns and it was super well rated for the burgers and lobster.
